Night is spent, the day imminent
Those who sleep sleep in the night
Those drunk are drunk after dusk
We're the sons of the daylight
not the sons of the dark as night
We should behave becomingly
make no provision for the flesh
That day is impending
like a thief of the night
like a sudden pain of labor
Dylan, I'm talking over your head
you were worried about your dad
I'm concerned about mankind
with no intention to offend
Hope your fans understand
it's time for that night to end
